One UI 7 upgrade for Galaxy A23 5G
As of writing, Samsung has rolled out the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy A23 5G in the US. The update information can be found on Verizon’s official system update page. For the A23 5G, the One UI 7 update comes with the build version A236VSQU8EYF3.

Currently the software is limited to the Verizon network, but it should be rolled out to other networks and unlocked models soon. To check the software update, the user can follow the path to Settings » Software Update » Download and Install.
The Android 15-based One UI 7 is a much-awaited OS upgrade, as users claim it’s the biggest overhauled UI in One UI history. The Galaxy A23 5G brings a host of new features, optimizations, improvements, and more.
New icons, animations, and customization options make the UI look more beautiful. The update also includes one-month-old May 2025 Android security patches. However, as an entry-level midrange smartphone, it is missing lots of major features, including many Galaxy AI features.
