More than 17 Galaxy devices have received the July 2025 update so far. This month the Korean tech giant started the rollout of the latest security patch with the Galaxy A15 4G, while today it expanded to the Galaxy S24 in the Europe region.
To enhance the system security of these Galaxy devices, the July 2025 security update brings more than 38 patches to address many vulnerabilities. The update also comes with general system improvements to refresh the performances.

Notably, the software update availability depends on region, carriers, and model, so it will not be available on every unit simultaneously, and it may also take more time than expected to be available on every unit.
Most of the devices will not see any new changes, features, or new optimization as per the changelogs. Still, the latest firmware updates are important to install, as they fix security issues.
These device owners are also waiting to experience the One UI 8 upgrade. The next major upgrade may roll out for the latest flagships first before the end of this month.
