This month Realme started its July 2025 update rollout with Realme 11 5G. Until a couple of devices have received the same update. Today the company expanded the July 2025 update to Realme 12x and Realme 11x.
Both budget smartphones are getting the update in Indian regions as of now. The Realme 12× 5G units are getting the update with software version RMX3998_15.0.0.1100(EX01). Meanwhile, the Realme 11× 5G units are receiving it with build version RMX3785_15.0.0.1100(EX01).
The Realme 12x update comes in an OTA file size of 26.45 MB. On the other hand, the Realme 11x 5G users are receiving it in a package size of 25.64 MB.
The July 2025 update changelog for both models is the same. As per the changelog, the update brings security fixes, and for that, it includes July 2025 Android security patches. Along with security, the update also optimizes the performance of the devices.

Aside from security and a few optimizations, it does not come with any new features. These updates are released in batches by the company, so it may take a few days to be available on every model.
The company launched the Realme 12x in 2024 and its predecessor, the Realme 11x, in 2023. Both devices are budget-friendly smartphones that come with decent specifications for a normal day-to-day user.
