The Galaxy M35 5G is receiving the July 2025 security patches in Indian markets. The update is being distributed with the build version M356BXXS5BYG1. The software update size is around 286 MB.
According to the changelog, this update does not come with new changes for the Galaxy M53. It is a monthly security update that carries over 38 Android security patches to address vulnerabilities.
Along with security fixes, it also improves the system stability in some scenarios, so you should install these small-sized monthly security updates.
This month, the Samsung Galaxy A15 4G and S24 FE were the first Galaxy devices to receive the July 2025 update, and Samsung has secured lots of its devices with the latest security patches.
The Galaxy M35 users are also waiting for the One UI 8 upgrade, which may take a few weeks to start rolling out for older devices. The Galaxy M35 is a midrange smartphone, so its second major upgrade will probably be released after the flagships like the Galaxy S25, S24, Fold6, Flip6, and others.
