Last year Samsung released the major upgrade for Galaxy Watch4 and Watch5 in December. This year it seems the company will release One UI 8 Watch earlier than last year’s release.
This information is based on Canada’s Telus Network Carrier’s software update schedule, which confirmed the Galaxy Watch7 and Watch5 will receive the update on October 21 and the Galaxy Watch4 will get the update on October 28.
As per previous experience, most of the time the company rolls out major software updates globally before the Canadian schedule, so we can expect the stable One UI 8 Watch for these Galaxy Watches next week.
Note: Keep in mind that the updates can be delayed, and it is not necessary that the update be released on these dates because sometimes these schedules get changed.
Moreover, the Korean tech giant has only managed to release the One UI 8 Watch stable update to Galaxy Watch7 beta users in Korea and the US.
