Samsung starts the November 2025 update journey with its budget-friendly midrange smartphones. The Korean tech giant has released the November 2025 Android security patches for the Galaxy A17 5G and Galaxy A06.
The update is being rolled out in several Asian regions. While the Galaxy A17 5G is getting the new firmware in Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and Malaysia, the Galaxy A06 is receiving it in Middle East regions, including Iraq, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. Notably, the Galaxy A06 5G is getting new security patches along with the One UI 8 upgrade in these regions.
The November 2025 update comes with build version A176BXXS3BYJ1 for the Galaxy A17 5G. On the other hand, One UI 8 comes with build version A066EXXU3BYJ4 for the Galaxy A06 5G, which also includes this most recent security patch.
According to Samsung’s Security Maintenance Release, the November 2026 Android security patches bring fixes for around 45 issues in Galaxy devices.
Moreover, the November 2026 update rollout has now started and will be expanded to other Galaxy devices in coming days.
Both devices have now received the Android 16-based One UI 8 and are also eligible for the One UI 8.5 update in the near future.
