The Korean tech giant always launches beta programs so that users can test and deeply find bugs and issues that are not encountered during internal testing and fix them as quickly as possible before rolling out a stable version.
Samsung has almost distributed the One UI 8 to its eligible Galaxy devices and is about to end its internal testing of the One UI 8.5 update. Following the internal testing, the brand will release the One UI 8.5 beta program for the public to test and provide feedback ahead of its official release.
The One UI 8.5 will be launched early next year, and before its launch with the Galaxy S26 series, the company will roll out the beta program, which may arrive next month, following the remaining Galaxy devices for the One UI 8 update.
