OnePlus rolls out a brand-new software update for the OnePlus 9R in November 2025. The new firmware brings one-month-old October 2025 Android security patches to address security vulnerabilities.
As of writing, the update is being distributed for Indian units first; later, the update will also reach global and European units as well. Indian users of the OnePlus 9R can recognize the October 2025 update with build version LE2101_14.0.0.2401(EX01).
According to the provided changelog, it only brings security patches, not any new functionalities or optimization. However, this maintenance update comes with some general system stability improvements.
As always, the company released the update for limited users today, and the gradual rollout will be started tomorrow. Eventually the software updates may take a few days to complete the rollout.
