New update improves the OnePlus 9’s stability and performance

OnePlus 9

An incremental update rollout started for the OnePlus 9. The brand-new firmware aims to improve device stability along with performance improvements. At this point it is rolling out in the European region.

As shared by the official moderator on the OnePlus community, the device is getting the new maintenance update with the new build version LE2113_14.0.0.1902(EX01). Hopefully, this update will be rolled out to other regions soon after Europe.

To check for the latest update, navigate to Settings » About device. Now tap on the OxygenOS version banner and click on the update and install option.

Mentioned details in the changelog suggest that the update does not pack new features or security patches. Even though it doesn’t include the latest security patches or features, this update can still be important to install, as it can make your device smoother by fixing some unknown bugs or issues.

Aside from the story, OnePlus is not only rolling out a maintenance update, but it is also working hard to provide stable OxygenOS 16 to its eligible devices. However, the OnePlus 9 is not eligible for the latest major update. The last OS update for the premium smartphone was OxygenOS 14.

Moreover, Till now a couple of devices have received the stable version of OxygenOS 16 after the beta programs.
