One UI 8.5

One UI 8.5 is around the corner for the Galaxy devices. Samsung is already working hard on progressing the next major software in the backend. However, the internal testers are already getting hands-on experience; now some fresh features have leaked. Let’s explore them.

A tech enthusiast, GalaxyTechie, revealed a bunch of features under the Smart Manager based on One UI 8.5. The smart manager section hosts helpful features to expand the usability of the Galaxy device.

Under the Smart Manager, there are two prime tabs added; this includes Phone Status, which brings features like Battery, Protection, Storage, Memory, Data Usage, and Blocked Calls/Msgs with the Phone Status tab. Meanwhile, the second one is utilities, which includes features like Power boost, Free space, App tools, System safety, Labs, and Additional care.

It is worth noticing that Samsung Smart Manager isn’t a new feature for the Galaxy devices, and it was there until Android 6.0 and now the company is bringing it back with some fresh features.

App Lock feature is coming?

Apart from those utilities, it is also debuting the most awaited App Lock feature, which will allow users to secure their application with a layer of security with authentication through password/PIN and biometrics.
