Good news for the OnePlus Nord 3: it is receiving a new firmware update in India. The update carries new November 2025 Android security patches to enhance system security.
As of writing, the update is reported by Indian users on the OnePlus community. The November update is being distributed with build version CPH2491_15.0.0.1354(EX01) for the OnePlus Nord 3. The update download size is just around 26 MB.
According to the changelog, this small-sized software only adds new security patches to address over 40 vulnerabilities. Aside from the patches, new updates also refreshed the system to offer a smooth user experience.
A couple of devices, including OnePlus 15, 13, 13s, and Nord 5, have already received these security enhancements.
Aside from the maintenance update, the brand is also working hard to release the stable OxygenOS 16 for its eligible devices. Till now a couple of devices have already received it, and devices like the OnePlus Nord 3 are likely to get it in the coming weeks.
OxygenOS 16 is an Android 16-based skin for OnePlus devices, which will be the last major update for the OnePlus Nord 3, as it is only eligible for 3 major updates, in which it already received its two OS upgrades in the form of OxygenOS 14 and OxygenOS 15, respectively.
