Samsung is all set to introduce its next significant update for the Galaxy devices as One UI 8.5. It will distribute the new features as well as provide the solutions to improve user experience with optimize software for smartphones. The AOD issue for foldables is also one of them which will be resolve with One UI 8.5.
What’s the issue?
A user on Samsung Community complained about the issue where he is getting the error while Good Lock AOD doesn’t working properly on the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Specifically, he mentioned that the AOD isn’t working on the cover screen, while the inner AOD is working fine as usual.
In response to the report, Samsung official has recognize the particular issue and said that this issue is limited to foldables and based on LockStar.
Further he assures that the AOD issue would be fixed in the One UI 8.5. In the meantime, user can apply the AOD through the LockStar menu manually. As far as the availability of update is concerned, it is expected to be distributed by Samsung by next month. However, there is no exact schedule published by the company.
