Samsung has rolled out the security patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 smartphones even after support end. The company follows strict policy for its Galaxy devices, where it limits the availability of the updates. Whether they are related to the OS or the security patches but for high end smartphones, it provides it usually bring some extra updates.
In this case, Samsung has already removed the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 from its security patch list. But still, it is rolling out the latest security patch for the devices as special treatment.
However, the update changelog doesn’t mention about any specific feature or changes for the devices, but it is expected that it could brought some necessary improvement under the hood for enhancing the user experience.
The November 2025 update is spotted for the 2021 foldable devices in South Korea with the firmware version ending with KYK1. the update is expected to expand to more countries soon.
