Samsung treated the Galaxy A34 with the December 2025 update ahead of the Galaxy flagship devices. Galaxy A34 is the first Samsung smartphone that starts receiving the December 2025 Android security patches.
According to the SMR released by the brand today, this security update adds patches to fix more than 57 issues in Samsung Galaxy devices.
Galaxy A34 December 2025 update details
For Galaxy A34, the December 2025 update is rolling out with the new build version A346EXXSBEYK3. To install this update, you will have to download an OTA package of approximately 363 MB.
It’s worth noting that the update for the Galaxy A34 is currently seen in some Asian countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Other regions will also get the update in coming weeks.
Users can expect some stability improvements in certain scenarios, but the update doesn’t include any new functionality. To check for the latest update, navigate to Setting » Software Update » Download and Install.
The last update of the device was the One UI 8 upgrade, and it was its third major upgrade. Following the One UI 8, the device has only 1 major upgrade left. The Galaxy A34 is also eligible for the One UI 8.5 enhancements.
