Most probably the Korean tech giant will announce the Galaxy S26 series next month. For the last two years Samsung has been launching its latest Galaxy S series flagships in January; that’s why the next flagships are also expected to arrive by the end of next month.
However, this year some things will be changed, like the devices will come with One UI 8.5 out of the box, and the main attraction could be the design, as the new S26 series is getting redesigned. Rumors also suggest the standard model could be replaced with the Pro model.
Moving to the main news, a new leak from Android Authority confirmed the back design of the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra. The designs spotted in One UI 8.5 software with codenames M1, M2, and M3 belong to the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra models, respectively.

These leaked renders hint at a back camera design like the Galaxy Z Fold7‘s vertical stacked camera system. However, the CAD renders were already leaked a couple of weeks ago, and they also point to the same design as these renders.
Aside from this, the company is also preparing to announce the upcoming One UI 8.5 beta program for the older Galaxy devices next week. We have dedicated articles for the One UI 8.5 features, supported devices list, and how you can join the beta program.
