Beyond the One UI 8 beta program, Samsung is also working hard to bring the December 2025 update to most of its devices as quickly as possible. And in the meantime, a few more foldables have been updated with the latest security patches in the US.

Galaxy Z Fold5 and Flip5 have already been secured with these new patches in South Korea, and now the update has reached the Verizon-locked models of both foldables in the US. Here, Fod5 and Flip5 are getting the firmware with builds F946USQS6FYL2 and F731USQS6FYL1, in order.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 are also receiving the same update on Verizon carrier-locked units with build versions F956USQS2CYL1 and F741USQS2CYL1, respectively. Both of them also received this update in Korea last week.

Along with unlocked models, other carriers like T-Mobile, MetroPCS, ATT, and others will also get the update in the next couple of days. In the next few weeks these foldables will also receive the update in the remaining regions.

The December 2025 update is a monthly maintenance software update that includes new Android security patches. It fixes more than 57 security issues in the Samsung Galaxy devices. It is just security-focused software, and it will not offer any new features or options.
