Rumors and leaks had been circulating for quite a long time that Samsung may launch its upcoming flagship S series with Pro and Edge models instead of base and Plus.
However, recent certifications and leaks suggest that the next flagship series will include the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra.
As we know, the brand is going to launch the Galaxy S26 series next month most probably, and recently we have spotted the battery of the Galaxy S26+, which confirms its arrival with the S26 Ultra and base models.
Galaxy S26 Plus BIS certification
The Galaxy S26+ battery is listed on BIS certification with model numbers EB-BS946ABE and EB-BS946ABY.
The Plus variant is coming with several changes, be it the rear design or the specifications.
Reportedly the S26 and S26 Plus will launch with the Exynos 2600 in most of the regions, but in some limited regions like the US, these could be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip.
The Galaxy S26 series will ship with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16. The S26+ will be equipped with at least 12GB of RAM & up to 512GB of internal storage.
Moreover, the base variant model has still not been spotted, but most of the new rumors suggest that Samsung is not going to release the S26 Pro next month. However, both the Galaxy S26 Pro and S26 Edge could arrive later next year.
