OnePlus could announce a new gaming-focused smartphone in China soon. Recently a couple of reports suggest the brand is working to launch a smartphone named OnePlus Turbo.
According to a previous leak, the device is rumored to arrive with a huge 9000 mAh battery and support for 80W fast charging. Now a new leak from DCS on Weibo suggests that the phone may house BOE’s 1.5K LTPS display and support a 165 Hz refresh rate.

The tipster claims the display will use the “Display P3 lite chip,” which is self-developed by the brand. Along with the new display chip, it also includes flagship-grade luminescent materials. The new display technology helps to bring near-flagship-level color accuracy and reduce power consumption.
OnePlus Turbo is also tipped to feature a dual rear camera setup, but there are no details about the camera specifications. The device is rumored to launch in the global markets as well following China.
This upcoming smartphone is expected to ship with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. It could sport a 6.78-inch display and weigh around 217 g. It may be powered with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
