The year 2026 has already begun, and this year’s S series flagships are about to launch soon. However, apart from the Galaxy S26 Ultra and S26 Plus, it is not yet fully confirmed whether the S26 base, S26 Pro, or S26 Edge will launch with this series.
Earlier reports suggested that the Galaxy S26 Edge might not launch right away, and Samsung could launch it later this year. However, the Galaxy S26 Edge was recently listed on the BIS certification website, suggesting its arrival.
The Galaxy S26 Edge is spotted on BIS with model number SM-S947B/DS, which could be the Indian variant.
Who knows, this time Samsung might be planning to launch four flagships in the S series simultaneously. So far, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, S26 Plus, S26 Pro, and S26 Edge have been spotted on several certification websites, so it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the company might launch all four devices together.
Aside from this, the S26 series is almost confirmed to ship with One UI 8.5, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra model is reportedly coming with a new Display Privacy feature. As of now, a couple specifications have already leaked for the Galaxy S26 series model, such as battery capacity and design, colors, and more.
