Vivo launches the Vivo T5 Pro with a 9,020 mAh battery in India

Vivo launched the Vivo T5 Pro in India yesterday, and the sale will begin on April 21 via Flipkart and the Vivo India website.

After teasing the device for a couple of weeks, finally, the brand has announced the battery capacity-centred midrange smartphone in India. The design of the phone looks very premium and will be available in two colour options.

Vivo T5 Pro key specifications and features

The Vivo T5 Pro comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The display also supports HDR10+ and 5000 nits of peak brightness. It runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset with up to 12 GB RAM. The Vivo T5 Pro operates on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box. Vivo is committed to offering 3 Android upgrades and 5 years of security software.

It is equipped with a dual rear camera setup, a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS and up to 10x lossless zoom, along with a secondary 2MP bokeh sensor. The Vivo T5 Pro carries a 32MP camera on the front for selfies and videos. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recordings.

Now coming to the battery, which is the main highlight of the smartphone. It has a massive 9,020mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 90W wired fast charging. All usable sensors are available in the phone, including a proximity sensor, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, and an ambient light sensor.

Availability and price

In the Indian market the Vivo T5 Pro launched in three storage variants: 128GB + 8GB RAM is priced at Rs. 29,999, 256GB 8GB RAM is priced at Rs. 33,999, and 256GB 12GB RAM is priced at Rs. 39,999. The phone will be available to buy from April 21 via Flipkart and Vivo’s official online store.

Vivo is also offering up to Rs 3,000 instant bank discount with HDFC Bank, SBI, and Axis Bank cards.
