OnePlus 15R gets its first maintenance update with camera and system improvements

The OnePlus 15R was launched with OxygenOS 16 out of the box in India on 17 December, and just a day later, it received its first software update.

The fresh software comes with several improvements and optimizations to the camera, system, and connections. It improves camera stability and performance in certain scenarios.

The update extends battery life by reducing power consumption in some scenarios. It also improves network connections, system stability, and performance. along with new improvements Gaussian blur effects are also getting more optimized when opening and closing app icons on the Home screen.

The incremental update is rolling out with OxygenOS version CPH2767_16.0.1.305(EX01) for the OnePlus 15R. As of writing, the update has been released for the Indian units of the smartphones.

The OnePlus 15R was launched in India with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and comes with 12GB RAM and two storage options, including 256GB and 512GB. It sports a dual rear camera setup featuring a 50MP main and an 8MB secondary ultra-wide lens. On the front side it houses a 32MP selfie camera.
