Samsung starts rolling out the first monthly security update for the Galaxy A54 after the One UI 7 upgrade in the US. The security-focused firmware brings June 2025 Android security patches to improve the security. It includes around 60 security patches to address critical to moderate-level security issues.
The new update is being distributed with One UI 7-based build version A546USQSCDYF1, and the OTA package size of the June update for A54 is 287 MB. As of writing, it is spotted on the T-Mobile/MetroPCS network and expected to be available on other networks in the coming days in the US.

As always, the update will be delivered in batches, so it may take some time to be available on every model. Apart from the security it carries, it has system improvements too for enhancing its overall performance.
Galaxy A54’s previous update was One UI 7, which comes with lots of new features, customization, Galaxy AI enhancements, and more. The device is getting regular updates, showing the company’s intent for its midrange and older device owners.
Moreover, it was announced in 2023 with Android 14-based One UI 5, and it received three major upgrades from the promised four. The last major upgrade of the smartphone is Android 16-based One UI 8.
