Samsung has started distributing the One UI 8.5 beta 3 update to Galaxy S25 units. The beta 3 update is available in Germany, the UK, India, and Korea. The update brings improvements and fixes for several issues.
The update makes the One UI 8.5 software more stable for the S25 users. This update is rolling out with the same build version, ZZA3, in all eligible regions. Further, the fresh beta firmware is yet to arrive in the US and Poland.

The software also carries the latest January 2026 Android security patches to enhance the security of the devices. Notably, as of now, only these Samsung beta-running units have received this year’s first Android security patches.
According to the changelog, the One UI 8.5 beta 3 includes fixes for Now the brief does not display, and the clock displays an error. The search button on the widget addition screen gets enhanced visibility.
It improves the Live Effect lagging issue in the Gallery and high power consumption in certain scenarios. This new beta also resolved a phone app issue related to favorites.
