After getting to its home country, the Galaxy A34 receives the January 2026 security update in the European region. This is just a monthly maintenance update mainly focused on security enhancements.
The brand-new software includes around 55 security patches to fix many critical-to-high-level issues in the Android system, Samsung semiconductors, and Galaxy-specific devices.
European units are receiving these patches with One UI build version A346BXXSDEYL2, and the software update package comes in an OTA file size of 328.45 MB.
The software is also packed with general stability improvements to offer better device performance. However, the update does not bring new features. The device has received the latest security update in two regions and is expected to arrive soon in more Asian countries, the Middle East, the American continent, and the Australian region.
As of now only two A series Galaxy devices received this year’s first software update, including the Galaxy A55 and A34. Aside from the non-beta, the One UI 8.5 beta 3 also adds January 2026 security patches to the Galaxy S25 series.
The Galaxy A34 is eligible for the One UI 8.5 update, but it may take a few months to be available.
