Samsung is ready to unveil its next-generation foldables, and their enterprise editions may get one year of additional software support compared to regular models. The July Unpacked event will be held on July 9, 2025.
A reliable tipster, Galox, shared a new leak on X about software support for Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 Enterprise Edition models. According to the tipster, both foldable enterprise editions will get 8 years of OS and security updates.

This means the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 will get Android upgrades up to Android 24-based One UI 16. These are the first foldable Galaxy phones that are coming with an 8-year software support policy out of the box.
Aside from foldables, the new Samsung Galaxy Watches will also launch along with the Fold7 and Flip7. However, the main focus of the event will be foldables, as this time they may get slimmer than their predecessors.
Both devices will most likely launch with Android 16-based One UI 8. After the launch, the One UI 8 stable version could arrive anytime. Galaxy S25 users are eagerly waiting to experience the One UI 8 stable version, as they are still in the beta program.
Note: this information is based on leakers and tipsters, and nothing is officially confirmed about the Fold 7 and Flip 7 software support policy.
