Samsung updates 8 flagship Galaxy devices with the April 2026 update so far

A new incremental software update adds April 2026 security patches to the Galaxy S26, S26+, S26 Ultra, S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, and S25 FE. The new firmware is currently seen in the US and Korea. More specifically, the update is available on carrier-locked units in the US.

Galaxy S25 and S26 series April 2026 update in the US

The Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, S25 Ultra, S25 Edge, and S25 FE are receiving the April 2026 security patches with One UI build versions S931USQS9BZBH, S936USQS9BZBH, S938USQS9BZBH, S937USQS6BZBH, and S731USQS6AZBH, respectively.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra are receiving the software with One UI build versions S942USQS2AZCO, S947USQS2AZCO, and S948USQS2AZCO in order.

This April 2026 maintenance update includes more than 43 patches that fix various Android system and Galaxy device-specific security problems. Alongside new patches, the software improves the stability and performance of these flagships.

Additionally, as per the recent reliable leaker, the stable One UI 8.5 software for the Galaxy S25 series will start being distributed from April 30. Recently Samsung has also released the One UI 8.5 beta programs for the Galaxy S24 and S23 series.
