One UI 8.5’s stable rollout has already started for the Galaxy S25 series, and other devices will also receive it in the coming weeks. Once the One UI 8.5 burden is reduced, the brand will hardly focus on the One UI 9 beta program.
Reportedly, the beta program may arrive by the end of this month for the Galaxy S26 series. However, there is still no official confirmation about the One UI 9 beta update yet.
Further, a new finding via Android Authority hints the Korean tech giant is set to bring improvements to the Samsung Finder and Now Brief with the One UI 9 upgrade.
What’s new for the Samsung Finder with One UI 9?
Recently the One UI 8.5 replaced the legacy S Finder identity with Finder to make things simpler. And now the upcoming major upgrade is expected to bring Google as an option alongside the native Samsung Galaxy search functionality.

It will allow users to keep both Samsung’s native device search and Google on the home screen, or users can keep one of them as well.
What’s new for the Now Brief with One UI 9?
As per the report, Samsung is developing a new Driving Insights app, and it will work with the Now Brief. This application will track users’ precise locations, perceived driving patterns, personalized summaries and more using AI to help build better driving habits.
Below you can see the description of the application
“See your habits and patterns at a glance” to “help you build better driving habits.” The app will rely on AI and your phone’s sensors to gauge various aspects of your driving.
