The Galaxy A37 5G smartphone was launched in March 2026 globally, and this month the phone has also received its first software update in the form of the April 2026 security update.
The handset comes with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and will get its first major OS upgrade this year in the form of One UI 9. The brand also started One UI 9 internal testing for the Galaxy S26 series.

The Korean tech giant has officially committed to offer 6 Android/One UI upgrades along with 6 years of security software support. The phone will get major upgrades up to Android 22-based One UI 14 and maintenance software updates until 2032.

As per the official listing, the Galaxy A37 ships with Samsung Foundry’s Exynos 1480 chipset. It comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. The display of the device supports a 120Hz high refresh rate. The phone is powered with a 5000 mAh battery and supports 45W fast wired charging.
The Galaxy A37 sports a triple rear camera setup which includes a 50MP main sensor along with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro sensor. For the selfies, it offers a 12MP front camera.
