Samsung is all set to launch the One UI 9 beta program for the Galaxy S26 this week, but only four countries will get it in wave 1, and wave 2 will expand it to India and Poland. As always, the second wave might also introduce the beta program for more Galaxy devices from May 26.
Notably, the Samsung Korea newsroom post has only confirmed the Android 17-based One UI 9 Beta Wave 2 release date and countries. As of now they don’t reveal other eligible Galaxy models for the beta update.
However, following the Galaxy S26 series, we can expect the Android 17-based One UI 9 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series, Galaxy Z Fold7, Flip7, Tab S11 series, Galaxy A57 and other newer and older premium and flagship Galaxy devices.
Further, the second wave of the beta program may also bring One UI 9 Beta 2 in Germany, South Korea, the UK and the US for the Galaxy S26 series beta 1 participants.
Ahead of the stable later this year, interested users can enjoy the latest features of the One UI 9 by enrolling in the beta program. But keep in mind that the beta program comes with bugs and issues along with application limitations, like the banking app will not work in the beta software.
