Samsung has officially confirmed the One UI 9 Beta 5 update for the Galaxy S26 series. The fifth beta update will be dropped next week, according to the Samsung Beta Operation Manager.
Many users were waiting for the 5th beta this week, but due to some unknown reasons, it is now scheduled for next week. The One UI 9 Beta 4 was announced last month on the 14th and brings more than 6 improvements and fixes along with new security improvements.
This One UI 9 Beta 5 is also expected to add brand-new August 2026 Android security patches along with more bug fixes and improvements. With every new beta software, the development is reaching the stable version, and the stable update may arrive in the coming weeks following the beta 5 update.
Apart from the beta software for the Galaxy S26, the brand officially launched the One UI 9 software with the Galaxy Z8 foldables last month.
One UI 9.5
The Korean tech giant has yet to complete the development of One UI 9, and ahead of its stable release for the eligible Galaxy devices, the brand also started developing the One UI 9.5 software internally. Recently the One UI 9.5 wallpaper appeared from the leaked Galaxy S26 FE software update menu screenshot.
