Realme has started rolling out the August 2026 update for the Realme P4 series smartphones. As of publishing, the update has arrived for the Realme P4 5G, P4× 5G, and P4 Pro. The update is currently spotted in Indian units of the handsets.
Realme P4 users can verify the August 2026 update with Realme UI build version RMX5110_16.0.5.1200, and the update comes in a file package of 1.57 GB.
The Realme P4x models are getting the brand new OTA update with build version RMX5108_16.0.5.1201, and the software package download size is a massive 1.57 GB.
On the other hand, the Indian users of the Realme P4 Pro can identify the software with version number RMX5116_16.0.5.1200, and users have to download a 1.65 GB OTA package to install the update.
The brand recommends users install the latest security patches as soon as they are available to download. According to the changelog, the update not only adds the August 2026 Android security patches but also brings fixes for some known issues along with system stability improvements.
Aside from monthly security software All of these smartphones are eligible for Android 17; however, the major upgrade will be based on ColorOS, not Realme UI. Realme and OnePlus merged their custom UI skins with ColorOS, possibly due to reducing software development and distribution delays.
