Samsung US started pushing the One UI 8 upgrade to the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 in the US. The update is currently spotted on Verizon-locked models of the foldables. Other network carriers and unlocked units will also get this update in the coming days.
One UI 8 comes with build versions F936USQU8IYIF and F721USQU8IYIF for the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4, respectively. The good news for Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 is published on the Verizon network software update page.
Both devices’ users can experience many new and exciting features, including Adaptive Lock Screen, Best Face, Wallpaper Recommendation, Call Caption, new Gemini features, and more.
Along with new features, the update also includes system improvements to offer a stable device experience. The update also comes with the latest October 2025 Android security patches to address around 34 vulnerabilities.
The company has already rolled out One UI 8 to Galaxy Z Fold5, Flip5, Fold6, and Flip6 in the US a few weeks ago. Foldables that received the One UI 8 are also eligible for the One UI 8.5 update.
