Realme announced its latest flagship devices in China recently. Both smartphones come with a unique swappable camera island, which allows users to change the camera bump cover style.
These devices are the first that were released with Realme UI 7 based on Android 16 software. Software support these days is also one of the major aspects when buying a smartphone. Realme may not have the best software policy in the smartphone industry, but Realme offers a decent software support policy for its flagships.
Realme GT8 and GT8 Pro software update policy
The company has officially confirmed that the Realme GT8 and GT8 Pro will get 4 years of major software upgrades and 5 years of system maintenance support. For smartphones, four years of OS upgrades are enough for flagship smartphones.
The Realme GT8 series will also be released in India and the global markets soon. Realme’s flagship devices are also being highly awaited in global markets as well. The software policy will remain the same in all regions for these smartphones.
