OnePlus begins the October 2025 Android security patches rollout for the OnePlus Nord 3 and Nord CE 2 Lite. Until today the company has already secured around 21 devices with the latest security update.

OnePlus Nord 3 users living in India can identify this new update with software version CPH2569_15.0.0.1301(EX01). The update for Nord 3 is currently only limited to India, which will be expanded to other regions soon.

For the Nord CE 2 Lite, the update is rolling out with versions CPH2381_14.0.0.2400(EX01) and CPH2409_14.0.0.2400(EX01) in India and Europe, respectively.

The changelog of the new firmware is the same for both devices, and it does not include new features. It is just a monthly security update, which may bring some system improvements too.

Apart from this, the brand announced OnePlus Nord 3 in 2023 with Android 13-based OxygenOS 13, and it is eligible for the OxygenOS 16 upgrade, which will be its last major upgrade.

On the other hand, the Nord CE2 Lite will not get OxygenOS 16, as it was announced back in 2022 with OxygenOS 12 and was eligible for only two major updates.
