One UI 8.5 to add Presets in Pro camera mode and Object Eraser in generative edits

One UI 8.5

One UI 8.5 is about to be released with the Galaxy S26 series in January 2026, and following several reveals, two more Android 16-based One UI 8.5 features are leaked ahead of its official release.

Camera app will include presets in Pro mode

As we know, the Pro Mode in the Camera app is a manual mode that offers full control to adjust settings like shutter speed, ISO, focus, white balance, and more. Currently the Pro Mode does not have presets, which can make some of your settings work easier.

Reportedly, Android Authority spotted a new code in the One UI 8.5 build, which hints that the brand may introduce presets for Pro camera controls. The feature will make the Pro mode of the Camera app easier to use, as this feature will allow users to switch particular presets at any time as per their need.

Object Eraser in Generative Edits

Samsung enthusiast Tarun Vats has recently shared the new feature info via its X post. According to the latest information, Samsung is planned to integrate the Object eraser feature into Samsung Gallery’s Generative Edits feature.

The new feature allows users to remove unwanted people from the image more quickly, cleanly, and easily. Below you can see how to use the feature.

Moreover, along with these two new findings, the Korean tech giant is preparing to introduce more features and animations, like new Gallery functions and the Music app’s new art effects, with Android 16-based One UI 8.5.
