Realme has already started the Realme UI 7 beta update with the Realme GT 7 Pro in India following China, but there are still some older devices that are waiting for the Realme UI 6. The good news comes for the Realme GT 2 users who have been waiting for a whole year since the Realme UI 6 features were announced last year.
The brand announced Realme UI 6 Early Access for Realme GT 2 almost 3 months ago, and later it also received the Open Beta. After several betas and a long wait, Realme GT 2 finally starts receiving the stable update of Android 15-based Realme UI 6. The Stable software update package size is 7.15 GB for non-beta users.
The update availability in India is reported by a user on the Realme community. The brand-new firmware version RMX3312_15.0.0.1305(EX01) brings the new Android 15-based Realme UI 6 for Realme GT 2. Following installation, GT 2 users can experience and enjoy all the new features of Realme UI 6.
The update added many enjoyable new AI features, live alerts, live photos, split view for the notification panel and quick panel, new app icons, Flux theme customizations, and more. The update also introduced new Ultra animation effects to the system, which give the device a brand-new look and feel.
Apart from the new features, it also integrates the September 2025 Android security patches to fix around 30 vulnerabilities.
Note: The brand always rolled out the major updates in batches, so the availability time of the update may be different for different users. Some users may have already received it, whereas some may receive it in the coming weeks.
