Samsung has successfully delivered the latest Android 16-based One UI 8 upgrade to most of the Galaxy devices. However, few devices have yet received it in some regions, which they will receive soon.
Following the One UI 8, the Korean tech giant is now ready to unleash its more improved and new feature-packed version, the One UI 8.5.
Recently a leaker shared the One UI 8.5 beta program release dates. As per this leak, the brand will start receiving applications for the One UI 8.5 beta test program from December 8, 2025.
Samsung always releases these beta programs for its latest S series flagships, so the One UI 8.5 should be announced for the Galaxy S25 series first.
For older flagship Galaxy devices like the S24 series and new foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7, they could start getting in the second phase of the One UI 8.5 beta, which may start from around 22 December, as per the tipster.
Further, the third phase may start from January 5th. Aside from dates, only limited countries, including the US, UK, Korea, Germany, India, and Poland, will be eligible for the beta programs.
