The Korean tech giant removed the Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 devices from software support almost 3 months ago. Now both devices are again added to the eligible maintenance update device list under Quarterly Security Updates.
Recently, the company surprisingly released the latest November 2025 security update for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3, while both devices were removed from software support three months ago.
However, Samsung has not detailed any information as to how many more months these devices will get updates. But the listing suggests that these foldables from 2021 will get more updates in the coming months.

Now the company has significantly expanded its software update policy. For the recently launched Fold7 and Flip7, Samsung has promised 7 OS updates and 7 years of maintenance updates.
