Following the Galaxy A36, Samsung starts the much-awaited One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy A35 smartphone users. The update is currently available for Indian users.
The beta testing allows participants to experience all new features ahead of its stable release. However, the beta program also brings bugs and issues, so users should not install it on their primary device.
One UI 8.5 beta 1 is rolling out with OTA build version A356EXXU8ZZD2 for the Galaxy A35. The software package comes in a download file size of around 2.8 GB. The update also carries the latest April 2026 security patches to ensure a secure user experience with the beta program.
How to join and download the One UI 8.5 beta program
To experience the One UI 8.5 beta software, users first need to join the beta program. To join the program, go to the Samsung Members app and log in. If not, tap on the beta program banner and follow on-screen instructions to apply and become a participant.
After joining, you will get one UI 8.5 Beta 1 OTA update notification; just tap on it and install. If the notification does not appear, users can also check availability by navigating to Settings » Software update » download and install.
