Galaxy S23 gets an April 2026 update in the US

Samsung brings the latest April 2026 security update to the non-beta Galaxy S23 series in the US. Notably, the Korean tech giant has already started the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S23, and the beta participants have already received the April security patches.

As of now the update is rolling out on carrier-locked Galaxy S23 units in the US. This latest maintenance firmware is distributed with One UI build versions S911USQS7EZCI, S916USQS7EZCI, and S918USQS7EZCI for the S23, S23 Plus, and S23 Ultra, respectively.

Based on the given changelog, the update is a general monthly security update which does not add any new functionalities to the devices. However, the update is still important to install, as it contains stability improvements and fixes for more than 45 security vulnerabilities.

Note: Samsung pushes these monthly updates in batches, due to which it may take a few days to be available on every model. Further users can check manually for the new update by heading to Settings » Software Update » Download and Install.

As of today, the brand has updated more than half of its eligible Galaxy devices with the April 2026 Android security patches.
