Samsung pushed the long-awaited One UI 8.5 software package to the Galaxy A55, Galaxy A35, and Galaxy A17 5G users. Along with all new UI tweaks and functionalities, the update also integrates May 2026 security patches to offer more enhanced security.
As of publishing, all these A-series smartphones are getting the One UI 8.5 features in South Korea.
Galaxy A55 users can verify the update with build version A556SKSU7DZE5, and the update size is around 3GB. On the other hand, Galaxy A35 beta users are receiving it in an OTA package of 335.90 MB, and it can be identified with the One UI build version A356NKSU8DZE4. Further, firmware version A175NKSU5CZE9 brings the One UI 8.5 features for the Galaxy A17 units.
Today the Korean tech giant updated more than 7 Galaxy devices with the One UI 8.5 update in South Korea. This feature-packed non-major update for these devices will arrive in other regions in the coming days.
