Galaxy A73 users are receiving the May 2026 Android security update with build version A736BXXSCGZE2. Notably, the update is currently available in the Europe region. The brand update for the Galaxy A73 comes in a package of 382MB.
For the Galaxy A53, users can identify the May 2026 update with the One UI version number A536BXXSMGZE1, and the update is currently spotted in some Asian regions, including India. The update comes in a download package of 286MB.
This maintenance update primarily focuses on enhancing security and does not introduce any new features. The brand-new firmware adds more than 40 patches to fix security vulnerabilities in Galaxy devices.
Both devices should receive the One UI 8.5 software, as they are running on One UI 8.0 based on Android 16.
