After updating the new Galaxy S series and flagship foldables, the brand started expanding the latest April 2026 security update to the Galaxy A series smartphones.
As of writing, the Galaxy A54 5G has started getting the April 2026 update. The brand-new software brings more than 47 security patches to solve issues in the Android system and some Galaxy device-specific ones.
This new OTA update is coming with build version A546SKSSGEZC2 for the Galaxy A54 5G. Notably, the firmware is currently limited to the Korean region and expected to be available globally in the coming days.
It does not include new functions but is still important to install, as it comes with system stability improvements and, more importantly, security issue fixes. The new software refreshes the devices, which may improve the overall performance.
The Galaxy A54 5G users can check the availability of the new software in their region by navigating to System settings » Software Update » Download and install.
