Google has already started testing its Pixel devices with the Android 17 beta program. Following Search Engine Giant, a few Android manufacturers, including Realme and OnePlus, have also started beta testing. However, Xiaomi is yet to announce its next UI skin, HyperOS 4 features and the first beta program.
The global tech giant will hold Google I/O on May 19-20, 2026, and following the event, tech enthusiasts are expecting the first Android 17-based HyperOS 4 beta from Xiaomi. However, the Chinese brand does not reveal anything about its next UI skin yet.
Along with many older midrange, premium, and flagship devices, all of the newly launched Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices with HyperOS 3 out of the box are likely to get HyperOS 4.

HyperOS 4 features
According to a recent leak, the company is reportedly working on a dedicated Leica colour palette for HyperOS 4. Xiaomi is expected to change its MIUI base code to bring more stability and smoother performance.
Moreover, there is nothing officially confirmed, and we have to wait a couple of weeks for an official glimpse of HyperOS 4.
