Following several months with a beta update, the Korean tech giant has finally begun the stable version of One UI 8.5. The update is currently rolling out for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Edge, and Galaxy S25 FE.
As of writing, the update is live in Korea and should be available in the US, Europe, and Asia soon. Users can check the stable One UI 8.5 build versions for the Galaxy S25 series listed below.

The update is available to download for both beta and non-beta units in Korea. One UI 8.5 is not a mini feature-packed update; it comes in around a massive 4.4 GB package. Notably, the units are still on the April 2026 security patches; the update does not include the latest May 2026 patches.
The One UI 8.5 is an AI-focused software bringing several AI enhancement features, including call screening, AI-powered photo editing, and live transcription, along with tools like Audio Eraser and generative editing.
