Recently, the Korean tech giant updated the Galaxy S26 and S25 flagship models, as well as the Galaxy Watch 8 and 7, with the July 2026 security update. As of writing, the July 2026 maintenance update is now also released for the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 in the US.
July 2026 update One UI builds
Notably, the update is available for both carrier-locked and unlocked units in the US. Carrier-locked users can identify the brand-new July 2026 update with build versions F966USQSBBZG3 and F766USQSBBZG3 for the Z Fold 7 and Flip 7, respectively. On the other hand, it is available on the unlocked units with build version F966U1UESBBZG3 and F766U1UESBBZG3.
As per the given changelog, it only adds the latest security patches and does not include any new functionalities. However, it also improves the stability of the devices.
Samsung One UI 9
Aside from the monthly software update, the brand is also testing the One UI 9 software on the Galaxy S26 series. Recently the S26 series has received its fourth One UI 9 beta update with new fixes and improvements.
It is still unclear whether the One UI 9 Beta program will be released for the newest foldables or not. Possibly these foldables may directly receive the stable One UI 9 in a few months.
