Samsung has released the fifth beta of the One UI 9 update to the Galaxy S26 series. The update brings dozens of improvements and fixes along with brand new security patches in Korea, the UK, and India.
Users were waiting for the One UI 9 beta 5 for many days, as the update was scheduled for last week. However, finally, beta 5 arrives for the S26, and the software is stepping up for the stable version.
One UI 9 beta update details
The firmware is update is rolling out with the build version S94xBXXU4ZZH6, and the software comes in a file size of around 1.28GB. The software also adds August 2026 Android security patches.

- Settings: Added new “Warranty and Care” page
- Improved issue where the app freezes or a white screen appears in some menus of the Settings app
- Improved issue where the speed is slow or a black screen appears when launching the camera widget on the lock screen
- Improved issue where the bottom floating bar is not displayed correctly while using the Phone app
- Improved issue where a blank screen is temporarily visible when entering the recent files list in the My Files app
- Improved issue where 1×1 size shortcuts are not added to the bottom bar of the home screen
- Improved issue where the preview screen position is misaligned or flickers in the Video Editor and Photo Editor
- Improved issue where the screen intermittently flickers in certain situations
- Fixed Wi-Fi connection errors and improved connection stability
Following India, the UK, and Korea, it should arrive soon in the US. Aside from this update, the brand also started internal testing of the One UI 9.5 for the Galaxy S26 and S25 units. A recently leaked Galaxy S26 FE update page screenshot shows the One UI 9.5 wallpaper banner.
