Samsung starts rolling out the stable One UI 9 software update to its Galaxy S26 series devices. Following a couple of months, finally the stable version has arrived. The update is currently spotted in South Korea and expected to be available in other regions in coming days.
The update is available to download for both beta and non-beta users with update sizes of around 652 MB and 4.1 GB, respectively. Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra users can identify the firmware with build versions S942NKSU4BZI6, S947NKSU4BZI6, and S948NKSU4BZI6, respectively.
The One UI 9 is an Android 17-based major OS upgrade that users have been waiting for for a long time. The software brings lots of new customizations, improvements, features, and more to enhance the user experience on Galaxy devices.
The Korean team is also running the One UI 9 beta program for more than 18 Galaxy devices, and these devices are also expected to get the stable version in the coming weeks.
Samsung has recently confirmed that the Global S26 models will get the stable update from September 21. Also, the other devices will start getting the stable One UI 9 from September 28.
