June 2026 is about to end, and still the Galaxy S23 flagship units were waiting for this month’s latest security software update, and now the wait is over, at least for the home country users.
Samsung started distributing the June 2026 Android security patches to the Galaxy S23 models in South Korea. Users can identify the software update with build versions S911NKSS8FZF1, S916NKSS8FZF1, and S918NKSS8FZF1 for the S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra, respectively.
The software package comes in an OTA download file of 444.60 MB. It does not carry any new features but brings fixes for more than 40 security vulnerabilities. The update boosts the overall security of the devices.
In South Korea the Galaxy S23’s last update was feature-packed. Last month, users received One UI 8.5 along with the May 2026 security patches. Following Korea, this June 2026 software is expected to be available in the remaining regions soon for the S23 series.
To download the latest software, users can directly tap on the update notification if available or can also check the update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update » Download and Install.
