Realme has updated more than 12 devices with the latest April 2026 maintenance update in India. This month the brand started the brand-new security update rollout with the Realme GT8 Pro smartphone, and till now the update has reached many midrange devices.
The April 2026 update is a security-focused monthly software update that includes more than 45 Android security patches to fix security issues. However, some devices like the Realme GT8 Pro are also getting new functionalities with this brand new software.
As of now, the Chinese smartphone maker is rolling out the April 2026 update for these twelve devices. As always, the brand released the update in batches, which may take a couple of days to complete the rollout.

Apart from this release, not all but most of the listed devices are also eligible for the Realme UI 8 major upgrade. However, the update is currently only available for the Realme GT8 Pro, in the form of the Android 17 beta program.
As previous experiences show, Realme mostly releases major upgrades too late due to ensuring the stability of the software ahead of public release. So for the Realme UI 8, older Realme device users will have to wait a few weeks to months to participate in the beta program.
